Mold Sanitization (Includes PRV & 2 Samples)

Service Description

Sanitization involves killing residual mold spores on walls, ceilings, floors, furniture, and building materials using an antimicrobial, followed by a protectant to inhibit future mold growth. Sanitization is different from remediation (which involves destruction and rebuilding of the building materials), and is sometimes needed when remediation projects don't go as planned or required, and there are risks of cross-contamination lingering after the project is complete or there are mold-sensitized or medically vulnerable occupants. While sanitization can be accomplished by the homeowner when there are surface level mold-affected areas, or for peace of mind after remediation is completed, sometimes it is not safe or feasible for the homeowner to do this due to safety risks, mold sensitivity, large areas, or lack of time and equipment. Save the time, uncertainty, and safety risks by requesting a professional sanitization. Includes site visit, non-toxic mold antimicrobials, mold inhibiting protectant, materials, Personal Protective Equipment, HEPA vacuuming of sensitive surfaces and electronics, 2-Step Sanitization to kill the mold and treat odors on all surfaces, and Post Remediation Verification inspection with up to 2 additional lab samples are included. NOT Included: Destructive practices, furniture moving, opening of walls, or rebuilding. These must be provided by construction professionals or home owner. Not available for unfinished crawl spaces.
